What is the Healium Score, and What Does It Mean?

The Healium Score is the percentage of time the user was more relaxed than when they started the session.

How is it calculated?

When a compatible biofeedback device is connected to Healium, such as an EEG headband or a smartwatch, Healium measures the user's starting baseline. For the EEG headband, this baseline is determined by their high beta brainwaves, while for a smartwatch, it is based on their heart rate.

As the user does a Healium session, those signals are constantly measured and compared to the starting baseline. If those measurements indicate the user is more calm than their starting baseline, then their Healium Score goes up. Since the Healium Score is a percentage of time, there is a max score of 100.
